The Chi iron works really good.Ii ahve one it heats up to 250 f .
are you sure about 200C, seems very hot.
Hair straighteners that get really hot aren't good for your hair. What you should be looking for is if they are made from ceramic which will protect your hair. GHD hairs straighteners are the best.
they have to be pretty hot but you have to find a good one that doesnt pull your hair. try sallys or some hair place that sells them.
Around 200 degrees is the norm now, GHD's are my choice and they are fantastic. FULL Ceramic plates are something you should look for too, ceramic plated aren't as good. You also need good protective products, you will fry your hair at these temperatures if you don't use any protection.

www.HQhair.com have GHD's for around 拢80 (拢20 less than many other retailers) and they also carry the GHD product range which have the protection factor. Alternatively Paul Mitchell Heat Seal or Seal and Shine will help protect your hair.
Geeze! Go to a Salon and have them Relax your hair if your planning to bake your hair at home %26gt;.%26lt;

Straighteners Weaken and Damage your hair greatly to get that poker straight thing.

Relaxers make your hair feel great but leave your hair with a little of a curl.

Maybe someone will know what your talking about with this bakeing temperture straighteners your seeking.
200* Celsius is equivalent to about 430* Fahrenheit. That is ample heat to straighten even the most unruly of hair. I personally would recommend the Hot Tools model #1188. It is a one inch ceramic and tourmaline model. Many people like the CHI Irons. Let me tell you the difference between the two. First and foremost, price point! You will pay about $60.00 for the Hot Tools model and about twice that for the CHI. Is it because the CHI is better? No, it's because Hot Tools manufactures hundreds of items each year. They are an appliance manufacturer, CHI is NOT. Hot Tools owns their own factories and therefore eliminates the middle man. They also have more items to spread their profits over. They don't have to try and make all of their money off of one item.

They both have floating plates which in turn requires less tension on the iron to completely clamp down on the hair.

They Hot Tools iron gets hotter than the CHI by about 20*F. The Hot Tools model has a rheostat so that you can choose the temperature it also has patented Pulse Technology which means,,,,,,it gets HOT and stays HOT!
