What is the best chemical hair straightener? How should i use it?

can i have peoples opinions? any tips? i have fine, blonde hair with dark brown chunks. will it take the color out? so if you could give me some help, that would be grrreat! What is the best chemical hair straightener? How should i use it?
Hair dressers always advice that for your first hair straightener you seek out a professional. If you rather do it yourself, good luck and I like Easy Straight, you can purchase almost anywhere for $30.What is the best chemical hair straightener? How should i use it?
I don't know anything about chemical straightening BUT I promise I'm not wasting your time!

Invest in a Chi straightener. They're about $100, but they have a warranty and they're worth every cent. I don't know how much chemical straightening costs, but this is something you'd only have to buy once. They are proven the most effective electric hair straighteners.

Not only will it be healthier for your hair, but it's probably less risky. It's the only thing that's ever worked for me. I can use it in the morning and my hair will be straight for 24 hours+! Sorry if this doesn't apply at all, but I'm just really excited about it. Good luck!
You better go see your stylist because the over the counter relaxers I have heard aren't very good they will only last for 3 or 4 days, when they claim they are supposed to last for 2 months, but if you go to a salon and get your hair relaxed it is just like a permanant, it stays permanantly straight until it grows out, and there may be certain ingredients in the product that you shouldn't put in your hair because it is colored. I suggest that you go see a pro for ANY chemical services because they really do know what they are doing and they are trained to deal with situations like this. Whereas you know nothing about chemically treating hair and how much damage doing things like this yourself can cause! Please for the health of your hair go to a salon from now on!!
wella its easy and good
use a perm for kids, the one for fine hair. it shouldn't take your hair color out. something like just for me or pcj for kids. go to a pro though, you might mess your hair up.
how long ago was your hair color treated? If you try to put a perm in your hair too soon after you color it or bleach it then your hair will either fall out or break out or just plain melt. But if you go to the beauty supply store pick up a Quantum (not sure if it is spelled correctly) perm. they are like $4 around here (south east GA) and if you want to straighten your hair then apply the perm to combed out wet hair with your hair hanging out over a tub and comb continuously while the perm works on your head. Finish the perm(straightening) with the neutralizer and voila, straight hair.
whatever you do make sure that it's a NO LYE relaxer. Lye is a chemical that really messes with your hair. some straighteners have conditioning formulas to them.....also you need to read the boxes because some of them are for coarse/resistant hair and some are regular...you dotn want to use the coarse one if you have fine hair it might hurt it. ALSO.....if whatever kit you get doesnt have skin protectant it's very important that you put vaseling around tyour hairline on the skin. dont let it touch your skin you might get chemical burns. ALSO if you have it in and it feels like it's burnign wash it out even if you have tiem left. ALSO DO NOT PUT IT DIRECTLY ON Y OUR SCALP your supposed to put it as close as possible to the root but if you ignore what i say abou tthe burnign feeling or putting it on your scalp you will probably get burns on your scalp that can turn into sores.ALSO have someone help you if this is your first time especially adn have it be someone who can follow directiosn well and you can trust to do so. It's extremely difficult to do it yourelf. ALSO you might want to look in the ';african american';section sometimes they have conditioners you can use after you strighten your hair but not right after because your not supposed to wash yyour hair for 24hrs i think LAST BUT NOT LEAST please read all directions most strighteners as that you not brush or comb your hair or scratch your scalp 24 hrs prior to usign the straightener...
I would go to a pro for that, hon. Don't want to mess with chemicals on you own, you could melt your hair.

But if you want (its your hair) walmart sells on for like 8 bucks..you put it on like hairdye and constantly comb and comb forever then rinse. it won't take the color out of your hair, I have used before.
