How do you heal a burn from a hair straightener?

I was straightening my hair this morning and I dropped the straightener and it fell on my leg(don't ask). I didn't but any water or ice on it so it turned into a puffy blister thing. It's really disgusting and I want it gone so I can wear shorts. How do you heal a burn from a hair straightener?
Keep it clean and do NOT break the blister. If taken care of properly, blisters should never break. Your body will reabsorb the fluid and the blister will shrink and vanish on its own. If the blister does happen to break, leave the skin on. If you remove it, your body has to regrow all that skin instead of just reattaching it.

Assuming no broken skin, you do not need to put any antibacterial ointments on it since there are no openings for bacteria to get in. You can use a burn cream if you have one. Lightly bandage the burn with nonstick gauze to keep your clothes from rubbing on it.

If the blister does break, then start using an antibacterial cream. Broken blisters get infected very easily so be careful.

And for future reference, ALWAYS run water over a burn. That gets rid of the residual heat and keeps the burn from becoming worse. If you had done that you probably would not have a blister.

And finally, be patient. You have a 2nd degree burn and those take a few weeks to heal. If you don't break the blister and don't get an infection it will heal faster, so take care of it.How do you heal a burn from a hair straightener?
Assuming a very brief contact with the iron, I would expect (at worst) a mild second degree burn. This should leave no scar but after initial healing will leave a red mark for a month or so that will gradually fade away. If it does not blister, it will heal even faster. But you did say it blistered, so it will take a while, figure a week or so and it will be pretty much be gone. For the blister, coat it with Neosporin and some gauze until the blister breaks. Then remove any blister skin that is loose and continue the Neosporin until the burn stops weeping fluid and is covered with new thin skin. Use a Sunblock during the day and a good moisturizer like Mederma at night.
Aloe vera is great for healing and minimizing the possibility of a scar. You can use it straight from a plant or buy it in the suntan lotion section. Apply it many times a day. It will help with pain and itch as the place heals too.
Buy Vitamin E-Oil. That will help to keep it moist and to help it heal quickly. If it's not moist, then there's a bigger chance of scarring because it will get dried out. Try not to play with it.

Good Luck!
