And what is the best hair product to put on your hair before you straighten it? What is the best hair straightener to use?
A Sedu Ionic Ceramic/Tourmaline + Titanium straightener or a Ozon straightener. They both work awesome and comes with adjustable temperature unlike the CHI and GHD which are set at one specific temperature. Also, the Sedu and Ozon comes with tourmaline, ceramic, and titanium plates which gives you even, infrared heat and attracts moisture to your hair making it silky, shiny, and smooth. It does not snag your hair either and gives it that pin straight look.
Chi's don't last very long and tends to snag hair.. don't recommend that.
Order from Folica.com for the Sedu straightener and get a FREE Sedu Revolution Shorter Styler (6 inches). You also get free shipping and zero tax if you live anywhere else in the states except for NJ and NY. There is also a free 2 year warranty as well.
Order the Ozon from the ozonhair.com website but you have to pay shipping. It's about $10.
As for heat protection, use Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray, got2b crazy sleek lotion, S-Factor Spray, Garnier Fruictis Leave-in conditioner, Suave Heat Spray, V05 Heat Spray, and other leave in conditioner and heat sprays.
Also, never never straighten your hair when it's wet!
P.S don't go for drugstore irons.. they'll hurt your hair. What is the best hair straightener to use?
I like my Conair CS4J.
It's a cheapo model, but I think it's pretty good for something I use daily.
It's about $15-$20? at Target.
It's pretty light, made of plastic, the inside is ceramic,
It has this dial sort of a thing to change the heat level.
It has a ';turbo'; button where you can speed up the time it heats up the straightener, which is already pretty fast. I believe it takes less than 5 minutes to heat up on the normal setting.
I think I've gotten some water on it and used it, and it seems fine,
considering the last straightener I had and got a bit of water, and it started making ';zap'; noises and actually smoked a bit. :P
So if you're the type of person to break or ruin things pretty easily, this straightener is perfect, since it's inexpensive. xD
But if you're looking straighten your hair for special occasions, you might want a better quality hair straightener.
:]
