What is the best brand of hair straighteners?

I'm wanting a new pair of hair straighteners. I brought some boots own about 2 years ago and they were ok and then my mum gave me her Nicky Clarke ones but I didn't go much on them, they weren't all that good. Then i was thinking of GHD's but there far to expensive and people have had alot of problems with them, so I was just wondering what brand of straighteners would you lot recommend? thanks xWhat is the best brand of hair straighteners?

I own GHD's and have done for the past 5 years.


Okay they are expensive, but they will last your for a long time.


Mine have broken twice, but when emailing the company,


and sending them off to a certain address, I received a new pair back within 1/2 weeks.





GHD provide an amazing results when used properly.


They can achieve a variety of looks with just one iron,


helping to give the look of fliks, twists, curls, and straight.





The price of an original GHD iron has also gone lower in price,


comparable to when i first got mine.


A standard/ original/medium GHD iron may cost £60/£70


However limited editions (different colours, or the GHD styler) can cost over £110/£120.

Well i got a pair of Nicky Clarke straighteners and i find them really good but quite expensive :)


I used to have GHD's but they did damage my hair more than other straighteners plus they cost a bomb and your just paying for the label to be honest, i think that there are other good straighteners that are cheaper. Other straighteners i would recommend are the BaByliss Pro 230 Elegance which are around £50 at the moment :)

Without a doubt, GHDs. I have thick, naturally curly hair and they straighten quickly and effortlessly. They're quite expensive at first glance but they pay for themselves eventually. Incredibly hot, incredibly quickly with a warning light and a 30 minute usage before turning themselves off, so are safe also. I would recommend GHD hair Straighteners above any others.

But if you try any other with ceramic plates, i like Babyliss or Treseme.. They do exactly the same,,

i used to have tresseme ones and my hair always flicked out, but now i have GHDs and my hair stays straight. i love them so much, and i have had mine for nearly 3 years now and nothing has gonw wrong with them. They are also great because you can curl your hair with them too! :)

i Bought Some Wahl Ones A Week Ago. There Really Good As They Are Especially For Black People Too, So The Strength + Heat Will Be At Its Maximum.
GHD's really are the best, they may be expensive but they are long lasting and you are sure to get your moneys worth from them.

T3 are the same as ghd accept u can change the temprature on then so u dont always have to have them soooooo hot x
