';HAIR STRAIGHTENER with TOURMALINE PLATES?';
is Titanium and Tourmaline Plates are the same kind of straighteners?..About the hair straighteners? whats the difference?
ceramic
titanium
tourmaline plates
what are these??
high end ceramic have baked on layers of ceramic coating
usually heats up faster 10 seconds av.
less expensive units tend to have a coating that looks like cermaic and may contain some ceramic . wears off quickly then it would damage your hair .
titanuim is similar and doesnt have hot spots which damage hair
its basicly is a diffrent metal , its also light weight and really durable
i dont think it gets as hot as a ceramic one
tourmaline plates
The crystal is ground into a fine powder which is then infused onto the plates of a hair iron. this is usually added to the plates ex: ceramic..;
this produces longer lasting straightness, shinier and smoother results. Tourmaline plates will also cause less damage on your hair and keep hair in a healthier conditionAbout the hair straighteners? whats the difference?
ceramic is cheap stuff which doesn't work too well, and yes the last two are pretty much the same thing
I'd go with ceramic or tourmaline, or a combination of both.
I have one with tourmaline and it's fantastic. There might be a little bit of ceramic in it too, but I'm not sure.
Many ceramic irons just have a ceramic coating on the plate, not the entire plate made of ceramic itself, so there's always the risk of getting one with just the coating and it wearing off over time. I believe that's what happened with my old one.
The tourmaline one I have produced much softer results than the old one.
Titanium is basically plain metal, which is not good for the hair at all.
