How to use a hair straightener to get the best result?

Do we use it with wet or dry hair? What hair products should i use to minimize the damage to hair and to enhace the look of the hair?Any recomendations? How to use a hair straightener to get the best result?
I reccommend not using a chemical straightener at all. If you want straight hair, use a flat iron or blow dry it with a round brush.

When you chemically straigten your hair, you STILL have to blow dry it out with a round brush or it will look frizzy every day.

I have naturally curly hair and tried it. NEVER again. My scalp felt like a porcupine. It was HARDER to maintain than curls. And I went to a salon, i didn't do it myself, so it should have been ';better';. I had to wait for a long time for my hair to grow out all the damage.

i will NEVER do another chemical straigtener or perm again. Worst mistake ever. How to use a hair straightener to get the best result?
You can do it with wet or dry hair depending on what kind of straighten you have. Some are made for wet hair.

I like to take all my hair up and let sections down at a time to get the best result.

Make sure you brush through your hair first, then I apply a hair gum, you can also use mouse ,or wax , it really all depends on your hair type.

make sure you do small sections and use the brush as well that way you can go over that section of hair mutiple time without burning your fingers. After you straighten each section make sure you brush through
u go verey slow and do small sections at a time works for my and i have curly hair
well a use thick ghds wash ma hair wirh andrew collins shampoo and conditioner and use redkin heat treatment when straightning leaves hair silky shiny
When you use a straightner make sure ALL of your hair is dry, this helps minimize the damage. If you use shampoo and conditioner, this helps too. Tresemee and Pantene, in my opinion, works the best. Also, to minimize damage, use a ceramic, gold plated straightener. After awhile, your hair may still get damaged, so get a routine trim and about every two weeks, put wash your hair with three eggs, and be sure to ALWAYS USE CONDITIONER!!
