How do i stop my hair straightener from making my hair stink?

When i straighten my hair it makes it smell horrible and it doesn't last for a few minutes but the whole day. It smells like a skunk and makes me sick. So how do i stop it from making my hair stink. Please help. How do i stop my hair straightener from making my hair stink?
you can try these two things . turn down the heat on the straightner and or change the product you are putting in your hair. it could be the smell of your hair burning or your hair product reacting to the high heat of the straightnerHow do i stop my hair straightener from making my hair stink?
while you're straightening your hair, put a pruduct in. Make it a really nice smelling one like Paul Mitchell. If that doesn't work, GET A NEW STRAIGHTENER! because that one is probably too old. Or don't straighten your hair, as soon as you get out of the shower, just comb it through until it's as straight as you want it or use gel or something because straightening your hair will make you lose it.
What you are most likely smelling is your hair actually burning. If you spend the money on a professional heat protectant spray to apply before straighting, it should prevent the burning spray.
IT SMELLS BECAUSE ITS FRYING UR HAIR SO GET A NEW 1 AND GET SOME KIND OF PRODUCT THAT WILL PROTECT UR HAIR WHEN U STRAIGHTEN IT
I agree, you need a new hair straightner, try a CHI those are the best kinds. expensive, but worth it.
you need a new one..

asap
