i have a jilbere de paris its not as expensive as a chi and it works just as good
I have a 1 inch one, from Vidal Sassoon, with a gold colored plate (heats up faster than silver), and I think I paid about $20 for it. I love it, it was on the cheaper side plus it heats up in a few seconds.
Sedu is the best, but it's kind of expensive ($115)


A cheaper one that's decent is Remington Wet2Straight ($25)


Just be sure not to use it on wet hair .
GHD straightners are the best
NEVER EVER get a wet to dry straightner it hurts your hair sooooo bad....trust me.....you are never supposed to straighten your hair while it is wet even if it does say wet to dry...it will hurt your hair.....but I have a starightner called herstyler and you can get them off the internet at their website...They are wonderful and come in diff colors they are pricey I got mine on sale and it was still 100 dollars i think it is originally 200 or something. But it is totally worth it...it curls your hair and straightens it it is amazing!!!! I have the colorful seasons one in pink.
i have a really really good one from conair! it was about 50 dollars and it works like a charm!


or try bedhead! they have really good ones! but what you should do is go to a salon and ask them the same question! they can help you much better!!

In addition to the flatiron, use a product called, ';Control Freak'; - extra extra straight by Tigi-Bed Head. I have wavy hair. When I use this product, I don't even have to use the flat iron. All I have to do is blow it dry.
