Hey there!! OKay if its stopped heating there isnt much u can do. double check that its puggled in correctly and the cord is tilted to the right angle coz there may be a break in the wires.
otherwise. look for a number on the warranty that came with the box (if you still have it). but call up babybliss head office and ask them what your options are.
for this weekend, try and borrow a friends!! or u can borrow mine if you like?? haha. see if a friend or relative can lend you theirs.

You said it's an old one, and hair straighteners, like basically any appliance, eventually stop working as they get older.
I think you might need to get a new one. Get a good quality one that'll last you as long as possible!
