My hair is naturally wavy and a bit hard to handle
It's not very thick but just enough to be annoying.
Whenever i straighten my hair it turns out perfect then halfway through the day it'll get wavy again.
Is there any certain way I can straighten my hair so that it stays straight all day? Or any product I can use?How can I use my hair straightener to make the results last longer?
use a shanpoo to smooth the hair like slick works from matrix, cool rinse to close cuticle outer layer of hair, then dry w/ round brush 2 smooth and flatten, then divide hair in 4 workable vertical sections, use a thermal spray like osis flatliner or aquage working spray spray each section as you flat iron it try to do it by feel instead of the mirror, you might be surprised how flat you can get it without looking at it. try it while watching tv and always use a comb to control the hair before putting it inthe flat iron. and make sure you heat the iron for atleast 10 min and make sure its turmed alll the way up. when you are done spray ui with some shine spray and comb thru. How can I use my hair straightener to make the results last longer?
Well, you can apply a bit of wax on your hair before you straighten, but I believe it might damage the straightener and/or your hair. Also, maybe you can first apply moisturizing mousse, then blow dry your hair(creating a puffy feeling), then straighten afterward, and spraying some hairspray onto it.
Sounds to me like you need to get a professional grade straightener, if you already have a professional one, try to get a higher standard one then you have, The ones with the dials on them are great. Don't go spending like 100$ you can get them for like 50$
Add a little bit of Hot Shots (From redken) to your hair before you straighten it.
AND TAKE SMALLER PARTINGS, move slowly over the hair, or heat up the hair taking the heating iron down the hair 3 or 4 quick times first then 1 slow turn. That way it takes better and does sometimes hold longer.
GOOD LUCK!!
XO
straighten it 4 awhile and dont get it wet
