Does the InStyler hair straightener really work as well as portrayed on the commercials?

I'm thinking about purchasing it but I'm a little hesitant due to the price, and the fact that it's on an infomercial. (: A little help?Does the InStyler hair straightener really work as well as portrayed on the commercials?

My friend bought the InStyler and I tried hers. The man in the infomercial {the creator of the InStyler}, Is about the only person on the face of the Earth that knows how to use the stupid thing. I like the idea of the rotating iron and the brush, but It does not seem to work for my hair type, I have wavy, fairly thin hair, easy to manage, but the straightner did not do anything, I had to go over and over and over the same area to get minimum results. In my opinion it is a very bad investment in your money, better spend on a 15 dollar flat iron, or the Chi straightner.


In a side note, I also got a second degree burn on my forehead from the InStyler Iron. Very painful and a waste of money. Best of luck in your decision, but in my opinion it is NOT worth your good money.
