Hair Straighteners - Which ones are good?

I have been looking to getting a straightener and was recommended a CHI flat iron, but after reading reviews about how they stop working, some withing a few months, i am not so sure! Is this a common problem? Are there any other quality ceramic flat iron that are good?Hair Straighteners - Which ones are good?
CHI's are like that now because they are no longer made in Korea, so the quality is poor. I would not bother with a CHI.

The ultimate flat iron is GHD...i owned a chi (made in Korea lol) for 5 years, and the GHD is not comparable, it is nothing short of a miracle. I love GHDS! if you cant afford it, my second choice would be a Sedu Revolution, my friend has one and its pretty good.

Ive also heard great things about the Hairart H3000

CHI's are alright. they are only coated with ceramic. they are not actually ceramic plates. underneath the coat is metal and that damages your hair a lot. try a cortex, they're just like a CHI but with ceramic plates and they are a lot cheaper.
i have one and ive had it for 6 months and nothing has happened yet so id get one, or get the bigger padded ';wet 2 straight'; renmington it works well too. if you have thick hair youll have to put that straightener on 30 to make it actually straight .
Hot Tools makes a few different ceramic flat irons. I don't have one, but I have a Hot Tools curling iron that has worked great for me for several years. It seems like their flat irons are reasonably priced for ceramic. Good luck!
Sedu is like the equivalent of a CHI but they last way longer and that's why people buy them. They're amazing!! Just be sure to put some hair serum after straightening so it STAYS straight. John Frieda- orange bottle.

Good luck.
try the Instyler! its awesome!! i have one and it works soo well!! look it up on google
