Are hair straighteners only for girls?

My friend said to me that hair straightners are only for girls! is this true or not? I am not 100% sure about this, so please tell me if its true or notAre hair straighteners only for girls?

Yes, when you go to buy them, the cashier will only let you have them if you are female.





Also, once you have the straighteners, you will find a form to fill in inside the box. This asks you to send a copy of your birth certificate to the manufacturers. Once they receive this, they will verify that you are female, and send you a special code which you type into some buttons on the straighteners. Without the code, they won't work.





I know someone who got round this system and used his female friend's straighteners. As he used them, the straighteners sensed he was male and they spontaneously combusted, leaving him with burnt hair.
Thats like saying why cant men look as good as girls? Of course you can use them silly :-) Ignore your friends! Give it a few weeks or months and they will be using them or say let me have a ago as a joke and carry on using them xx
no, many guys use staightners as mush as girl use eyeliner and lipgloss. ...i hear some people say that only emo guys use staightners...=p
