are you talking about the cordless ones that you can kind of use to travel with? i used to have one and it flicked on like you were flicking a lighter and it would just start getting hot... not hot enough to actually thoroughly straighten your hair but i was a dancer in high school so it came in handy for touch ups...How do gas powered hair straighteners actually work?
wow, i have no idea! i guess the gas powers it like a car or sumthing, and it heats up..

there are no sure thiing as that...there cordless...thats all besides one that plugs in....i mean where did you hear of that???
