Which are the best long lasting hair straighteners?

I've read some reviews on babyliss, treseme and ghd and although they all seem to have the same effect, some have reported that the babyliss/treseme ones have stopped working after around 7-12 months. I don't want to buy some now for them to stop working in a year. Which do you think are the best for durability? I'm in the UK. Many thanks.Which are the best long lasting hair straighteners?
GHDs. I have had mine for a couple of years and although they are held together in part by sellotape cause i stood on them while getting ready to go out they are still going strongWhich are the best long lasting hair straighteners?
ghd's

they will literally straighten any hair at all. i have very curly hair and it gets mine to be poker straight.

babylis and tres emee definately do not give as good final product as GHD's

GHD's have warranty on them so if they did (they barely ever do however) go wrong then you wuld get your money back i think.

so yeah, GHD's are honestly the best straighteners on the market, even hairdressers use them!!

make sure you use protector spray: gum hot stuff, andrew collinge heat defence or the tres emee sprays are all good.

happy straightenin :D
GHD's and VS Sassoon (i have a vs hairdryer and it works really well, it came with a diffuser too and a huge paddle brush), got it as a christmas prezzie but I don't reckon it was over 100-150 $. Also Babyliss Pro's r good. Hope this helps ;) xx.
I've had the same GHD for 5 years now,

its getting old but still works fine.
