What are the best hair straighteners?

ive heard that GHD's are good but after about a year they can break. does anyone know of any other straighteners that can make your hair really straight and that are really really good? if you do know of any please tell me why they are good! THANKS!What are the best hair straighteners?
I have a GHD and have had it for just over a year and it is still working great, I think most hair straighteners have a limited shlef life, My last few (remingtons) only lasted just on a year each till they lost alot of their heat of the cords frayed.. but my GHD seems to be fine still. I think Mine came with a 3yr warranty also..What are the best hair straighteners?
I have one I think it's by andis. I got it at walmart and it works really well, even on my sisters thick/frizzy hair.
GHD. ii had them for four years.. But from like.. streching the lead..they blew up .. from the lead.. But that doesnt usually happen ;; GHDS FTW :) lol x
