It's shoulder length, so I don't need a thick iron which is all I can seem to find. It just likes to curl out on one side and in on the other so I have to wash it and brush it out for an hour to make sure it stays straight.
Any recommendations would be great. :] I'm probably hoping to spend $50 or less. I don't need a Chi or anything like that. What are some of the better lower-priced hair straighteners available?
I just wanted to let you know that I bought myself a Chi hair straightener about a year ago and I've never been happier! I see that you said you didn't want to buy a Chi but I found one online for about 80 bucks and it was totally worth it! I just thought I'd tell you just in case you changed your mind and wanted to spend a little bit more money for a great straightener!
By the way, here is the site where I got my straightener for a good price! Just in case you wanted to check it out!
Good luck!

Remington Wet2Straight does a fairly decent job. But you may not want to use it while your hair is wet. You also need to use a thermal protection spray. I'd recommend Bedhead Shine Infusion, or any Tresemme product.
