What are the best type of hair straighteners?

i'm about to buy a new hair straightener and i want to know which are the best to buy? i heard chi is really good but i tend to buy hair straighteners that look cute lol and was wondering if you guys could write like a little ';review'; on ones that you use or KNOW that is good.but hope you guys can help and thanks!!!What are the best type of hair straighteners?
Chi's work GREAT when they work but within a short amount of time the cord breaks and they quit working...So I sugest that you go to your local Sallys if you have one and ask them

okay so i got this flat iron at sally's and it works really good.ive used it since i was like 12 and i love it you might have to use some shampoo's and stuff so your hair wont burn but the initials are ';GVP'; i got this italian flatiron that was way more expensive and it stopped working and rightnow i went back to my 2 year old flatiron and it works great:D hope this helps.
Yes Chi is the best. Its on the expensive side, but its really good quality and lasts forever! Um, i like cute straighteners too, but they say that the colored ones actually work worse than a plain brown or black one. Wierd huh? So ya Chi.
