Does the Remington wet 2 straight hair straighteners heat get really hot?

Yes, it does get really hot. I have this and I never use it on wet hair. I've tried before and it doesn't work very well. My hair looks stringy and is still wet after. And the steaming that occurs makes me feel like I am melting my hair! It works fine for regular straightening purposes.Does the Remington wet 2 straight hair straighteners heat get really hot?
Yes it does get hot but it has a grip on it that you touch so that you don't burn urself. I just got mine tonight and I LOVE it. Seriously I have had soo many different straightners and this is by far the best. Not only does it straighten your hair perfectly ( even if it's wet!) but it also makes your hair feel so silky and smooth. I highly recommed this product. I got mine at walmart for 30 bucks. Yea this mornin i straightened my hair after i took a shower and i burnt the top of my ear.. LOL :P
