I need a hair straightener. I'm only planning to use it for my bangs, so I'm wondering if one of those Conair straighteners from Target are okay. What are some products that can prevent my hair from being damaged as much(preferably able to be bought at places like
Target)?Hair Straighteners?
conair straighteners will work for you bangs ( i had a conair for my entire hair not long ago and i actually really liked it) just make sure it is ceramic. i use marc anthony straight protectant stuff and i love it. it smells really good and it's really light. good luck!Hair Straighteners?
i use a hot tools metal plated straigtener. before i blow dry, i use VO5 miracle mist. it protects your hair and i belive conditions it if you have tangles. it is pretty inexpensive and you can get it at any drug store so you probably will have no trouble finding it at target.
you can go to walmart or like some other big places
Most straighteners work pretty much the same, so any straightener will work. (I got mine from the grocery store and it works fine.) There are a lot of products that will protect your hair from being damaged as you straighten it. Sometimes I just use hair spray. I just spray the piece of hair that I'm straightening, and then... I straighten it! Yes, you get that sizzling sound, but that just means that the heat is burning the hairspray, not your hair! And that's good, so that you won't end up with split ends or anything. Another product would be probably one of those creams that will protect your hair from damage. I used to have one that came from the hair salon but I used it up and never went back to get any more. Creams like that work pretty good, too. Another option you have is the shampoos and conditioners, too if you want to go that ';extra mile'; for you hair.
~Hope i helped!~
i have a wet 2 straight one by remmington...i got it at walmart for like $25 and it is awesome! just make sure you get a ceramic one so it wont damage your hair as bad...
well a better hair straightener would be the CHI and the brand has some heat protection spray so that it doesn't damage your hair when you straighten it :)
I use the bedhead ionic one and I love it!
Important alert!! Buyer beware concerning Chi flat iron hair straighteners. Folica.com has buyer reviews and the majority of them are NOT positive. Some have even been recalled due to a fire hazard. Several users reported that their irons literally ';fried'; their hair. Because Chi irons are pricey, you really should do some homework about this product before deciding to purchase. I've heard that the Conair and Revlon ceramic flat irons do just as good a job for less money!!
My mom bought a product called chi.She got it from where she works it helps big time
I own a CHI %26amp; Love it!
Target online sells CHI too....
But if all you're doing is your bangs, i don't see why you would need a $150 something flat iron :-)
Make sure whatever you buy is ceramic though so you don't burn your hair! Conair is a good one :-)
As for products, wow, I'm noticing online for target they carry Bumble %26amp; Bumble products! use a thermal spray! :-)
