In the Uk the mains voltage is 230 volts, in America the voltage is 110 volts, so they should work. read the instructions because you might need to set a little switch to change to the us voltage. Remember if you have to set a switch on the streighteners to change the operating voltage, ensure that you set it back to uk voltage when you come back. Some streighteners don't need a switch to be set and you can use them as they are with an adaptor to convert to the type of socket used in that country.

I just went to Germany, used the adapter, and no luck.


They are just too different.
Take a travel adaptors and anything works anywhere as long as there is an electrical supply
i only no that my ones work because they have it written on em mine are nicky clarrk so im not sure xx a m y
