I want to buy a power inverter to use my hair straighteners when i go camping?

i know its sad! but im not sure which type i should buy, the plug on my strighteners says 250v, and i want one that will plug into my car cigarette lighter, can anyone help?!!I want to buy a power inverter to use my hair straighteners when i go camping?
you can get DC to AC inverters that will plug into a cigarette lighter. often these can be found in computer suppliers as laptop acessories.





but you need to check the power requirements of the hair straightener.. I doubt that it will be a problem but make sure the rating plate on the tongs is less than or equal to the power output of the inverter. I don't think they will consume much power., but its always important to check.





There may be a better solution, which may be to use a portable hair straightener which uses butane or soem other gas as a source of heat.





If you do buy an inverter Id check that you only plug it in when required (some of the cheaper inverters are always on, and will drain the caravan's battery).I want to buy a power inverter to use my hair straighteners when i go camping?
You can check out Target or Bed Bath and Beyond...they have all of those type gadgets....
