Does using hair straighteners damage your hair and make it more likely to break and fall out.Hair straighteners and damage to your hair?
Yes,this is a true fact you always have to be wary when using any materials or machines that are used with any sort of heat. You should always have some sort of heat protection creme or spray in hand when dealing with this. If you dont have one in hand at the time, its recommended you dont straighten your hair,if your big on having straight hair i would keep it at a fairly low setting, and move with the plate fast, this is when your low on supplys obviously. If you do notice damage on your hair which can range to frizziness, burnt hair, dry hair, split ends ect. Its probably from the acsess heat damage. Heat protectection supplies can be purchased at many, drugstores or and beauty supplies. At fairly easy to buy prices.
To keep a healty hair habit i would throghly conditon and wash my hair everyday with supplemented minerals and vitamins. Cut my split ends about every 6 weeks. Limit amount of times you straighten your hair even WITH heat supplies to 2-3 times a week 4 at max. If you notice your hair is really damage, and you think professional help is needed, i would reccomend you set-up a meeting with your hairdresser,to help you sort things out.
I hope you take some of my tips in hand, and i hope you have a fun time styling!Hair straighteners and damage to your hair?
Yes, using hair straighteners and other ';steaming'; ironers can cause your hair to dry out, and thus, break. But I don't think they'll fall out. Don't worry, though. Use Tressme (don't know if it's spelled right) thermal shampoo and it'll help repair/moisturize your hair. Hope this helps!
