Can you put hair straighteners in hand luggage on a plane?

My friends going to greece for 2 months, and needs to know because her suitcase is already over the weight. So she needs to put things in her hand luggage.

Im just back from my holidays and i took my Ghd in my hand luggage to and from Portugal. I didnt have any problems...they did take out my friends hairspray tough! Just dont take any liquids in your hand luggage and you'l be fine! =]

i think your better off putting them in your suitcase

cause if your not allowed them, your gonna have to get some new ones
I think it might be considered as a danger hazard.

Yes i dont see why not. But i think the price is 拢6 for every kilogram over the maximum weight if not.
It would be easier to put things such as clothes into hand luggage...
No they cant go in hand luggage.
ye suppose if there electric because you cant turn them on. otherwise if there gas u could attack people with them.
