Are remington hair straighteners any good?

i need a new, cheap hair straightener....is remington any good?Are remington hair straighteners any good?
I don't have used remington, but i have a CHI ,it really straightens and evenly distrubutes heat, lessening split ends.Are remington hair straighteners any good?
NO DO NOT GET A REMINGTON it burt the life out of my hair it was a remington wet to straight. the straightner i have now is a conair infinity nano silver. its so much better how ever it is around 70 dollars

i have had mine for about two years(it isnt used everyday though)
