Hiya. When I straighten my hair with SHE straighteners I always go out and once my hair has been in the wind a while or even just out in the air it goes curly again.I have naturally quite curly hair so is this why it does that or is it the straighteners? I have also tried hairsprays and they don't help. No one else's hair seems to do this so why mine? Lol,I straighten in properly in sections and it takes quite a while and always goes well at the end but as soon as I start doing something ten minutes later it will be curly.Does anyone have SHE straighteners or know why this is or what I could do about it? Also, if I got GHDs would my hair stop doing this or would it be just the same? Thanks xxxMy hair straighteners don't work?
Before you straighten it, spray some ';Paul Mitchell Heat Seal'; onto your hair. It sounds like you're having problems with humidity. The more you ';seal in'; the heat, the less chance the humidity has of penetrating the hair shaft. I've found the Paul Mitchell stuff to be the best at keeping moisture out once I've styled my hair. Make sure you use it BEFORE drying/straightening your hair.My hair straighteners don't work?
Try going to the salon to get your hair straightened, it will last longer and you won't need to straigten over it. You're straightener might not be strong enough for your curly hair. In that case. make sure it's on the highest temperature, you may need to get a straightener with a higher temp. Also I would recommend you use shampoo or conditioner or other hair products that help your hair to be straight it will help tame your curls.
Hope that Helps!!
use porcelain straighteners may be expensive but the others arent worth it bcuz they r cheap and metal
Get a chi curlor and before straightening put VO5 straightening gel to protect hair.
It has noting to do with the straightener, its your hair. I have the same issue. When you straighten your hair, you need to use some type of straightening serum along with it. Just hair spray wont do the trick..
