Can a hair straightener burn the dye out of hair?

I dyed my hair yesterday and straightened it today and i'm noticing a patch where it's still brown. could the straightener have done this or did i just miss it when i was dying my hair?Can a hair straightener burn the dye out of hair?

No it can't. perhaps the patch was a case of un even dyeing, which used to happen to me. Just make sure you're extra careful %26amp; even when dyeing your hair next time :)
