When should you replace a hair straightener if you use it everyday?

I have the maxi glide and i had it for over two years. should i replace it? How long should a hair straightener be used?When should you replace a hair straightener if you use it everyday?
If it is still doing its job, then there is no reason to replace it. I have never had a hair straightener for more than a year, but that is because mine always break or short out!When should you replace a hair straightener if you use it everyday?
You should get rid of it when it starts molding or gets rusty. That can mess up you hair, and a lot of it might come out. To prevent it from molding just wipe it down with acohol every couple of weeks. Sense its the maxi glide, there is no stopping the rust.

Use it until it breaks, or starts acting up.





for ceramics, if they start getting a little rusty, get rid of it.
Use it until it gets hard to use or until the plates get rusty or worn out. You can even keep it til it dies but i wood get a new one if i were u.
