When purchasing a hair straightener, in what ways do the 1 and 1 1/2 inch plates come into importance?

Is there a reason for a person to purchase the 1 inch? Is it for your hair length or what exactly? I have very long hair, down to my waist. It's wavy, not too curly not too straight. What inch should I get? I'm looking to purchase the Sedu. For those of you who have it, any tips or suggestions? Any type of feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.When purchasing a hair straightener, in what ways do the 1 and 1 1/2 inch plates come into importance?
If you have nice, full, thick hair, then get 1 1/2. Covers more hair in less time.When purchasing a hair straightener, in what ways do the 1 and 1 1/2 inch plates come into importance?
well if you get the 1';

you could curl your hair with it

and get cute little curls but not total ringlets

and with 1 1/2'; you could curl it

and not really get great curls

but i think it mostly has to do with

the thickness of your hair

because if you get really high heat

2'; straightener and your hair is really thin

you are going to fry your hair

but if you get that straightener and you hair is thick

it will work really well and it will work faster

than a thinner one would work
Hair straighteners just ruin your hair.
If you have short hair, go for the 1';.
