What kind of hair straightener is the least damaging to hair?

-- looking for something that works well, but not excessively expensive. My hair is wavy so it straightens fairly easily, I'm just worried about all the damage it's receiving from the straightener i use now :-/

any suggestions? What kind of hair straightener is the least damaging to hair?
Ceramic!!

Doesnt damge the hair..What kind of hair straightener is the least damaging to hair?
I use a revelon and i think it is great. but I also use heat protection
maxius maxiglide....it has a steam water thing in it so it wont dry out or damage your hair!

i think you can buy it online or at bed bath and beyond..
ive heared really good things about chi straighteners but they are pretty epxensive.

use something on your hair before you straighten it to protect it.

make sure you have a cermamic hair straightener, those are the nicest on hair.
i would recommend using a chi straightener, and also some straightening hair balm/spray. you can buy those at a pharmacy or a salon. john freida has a good product, and also use anti-frizz shine spray/serum.
