Help with Hair Straighteners?

What should I look for in a hair straightener for my wife? Which kind is the best?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!Help with Hair Straighteners?
You definitely want a straightener with ceramic plates. A really good brand is CHI. Also, I find that 1'; plates are easier to work with than 2';.Help with Hair Straighteners?
Anything with ceramic plating is great!

The prices are higher for the nicer hair straighteners but it depends what she is using it for. If she wants it for her whole head than its worth the investment but if its just for her bangs and little parts, than a cheap one from wal-mart is just fine.

Make sure it is ceramic plated!!! Better for the hair!!

And if you are looking for a nicer model go to the hair salons to buy one not any store. Even the discount hair stores have great prices.
I think GHD is the best brand- also really good value for salon quality. I live in Australia and they are available everywhere, but if you are overseas you can order them from the GHD website. You can also get heaps of products to help with the process to protect the hair and even free carrier cases.

It is

1. good value

2. warms up quickly

3. straightens accurately and fast
Remmington or GHD.

However, regardless of how many bells and whistles they have, you can get an off brand one that does the job just as well.

Just make sure that it has a maximum heat of 392+F or 200+C and you're sweet.

They are all very good, assuming that you spend US $35 or more.

All the best. =]
Make sure its ceramic!.. if i were you i would venture into a Sally Beauty Supply store and ask the employee which one she suggests. They dont have to be an expensive chi straightner to work well, and at Sally, you're getting salon quality. Also, you should check out what size straightner your wife uses... it matters.
I think you should use herbal so that it will not spoil your hair and does not cause any side effects. You can have a look at the herbal straightener at http://www.internationaldrugmart.com/her/a>

It will make your straight with in 2 mins
GHD is the best straighteners you can get

there not cheap but they will last a long time and she will achieve the best results also they damage the hair alot less then most hair straightners and there very popular among women

she will know who they are and she will know u spent *MONEY* buying it for her without u telling her Trust me they are GOOOD!
chi is by far the best...try to get ceramic because it doesnt damage the hair basically at all..i use a hair straightener almost everyday and my hair is really healthy...look at sallys beatuy salon and im sure you will find a good ceramic one for under 150$! goodluck:)
okay Conair's can break pretty easily

so that's out

I have a Chi I've had it for about a year now it heats up fast and straightens pretty well

So go with the Chi and also don't have a heart-attack if you go to Sally's or Ulta and it's like $75
the CHI ; you can buy them at JCPenny's, Ulta, or any up scale salon... (this is not something you can buy at walmart)... prices can run as high as $190, but you can usually find them on sale for $100 or $120...
ok the best is definitely maxi glide. you can order it online or sallys beauty supply may have it. the more expensive the better. get her a good one and it will last and work right!
Why waste time on something so easily burned back to a carbonic state?
Chi ceramic Straighteners are the best. They are over $100 but well worth it.
i have a CHI they work very good! leaves my hair very silky and super straight! look online or go to like a hair salon store...no WALMART hair straighteners they dnt work
the chi straighnters are the best!
