is there an adaptor we can buy? or do we buy a cheap pair out there? if so approx priceMy daughter wants to take hair straighteners to vegas but obviously plugs are different?
yes you can buy adaptor plugs
the adaptor plugs into the socket and the hair straightener will plug into the adaptor
they're available in most hardware shops or sometimes supermarkets

Voltage is too low in America so you wouldn't be able to use them, The electric store out there is called Frys electronics. Here is one they sell http://shop3.frys.com/product/3931908
Happy shopping.
http://shop3.frys.com/isp/lasvegas.html for the address
My ghds wouldnt work in america as the power isn't strong enough for them. Don't waste precious weight with them, if your desperate buy a cheap pair over there or try to just blow dry it straight
Have fun...
i have tried twice to take mine to the usa and the power is diffrent so they didnt work. one was my ghds. i would consider buying a cheap pair over there.
It would be cheaper to buy an adaptor. That way you can use it for other things like charging cell phones, batteries, etc.
you can get adapters in most hardware stores
Buy one over here. It's less than 20$ USD
