I have long thick hair and i want a good quality straightener that isn't a rip off but isnt too cheap or nasty. Tell me what you have tried and why it works best for you. I live in Australia.Hair Straighteners - which ones are worth a try?
Ceramic hair straighteners are best if you want to keep your hair fairly healthy despite all the heat that you're exposing it to. The best ceramic hair straighteners are pretty expensive but they're a worthy investment. Lots of different brands work. I don't know if you have it in Australia but Global Beauty Ceramic Flat Iron works wonders :) The only thing I don't like about it is that the thing is pretty narrow so it takes awhile to straighten my whole head of hair.
My personal favorite is Vidal Sassoon's Gold Series Straightener. It's really cheap and the heat is perfect for my thick hair... It gets really hot and the surface is wider so more of my hair is straightened at a time and it cut my hair straightening time in half. It could damage thin hair but if your hair is thick and you go by your hair quickly enough, you most likely won't damage it with this. However, it (the product) itself does not last as long as other hair straighteners but it works.Hair Straighteners - which ones are worth a try?
You should get GHD ceramic, its $115, but its worth it! I have it and it works really good! you can even curl your hair with it, and it doesnt break fast! But don't get the Chi, its bad. It will stop working the 1st time you drop it!
Chi straighteners work the totally best.
yeah, chi strighteners
they heat up rele fast too
in 5 seconds only
I use John Frieda Runway Straight smoothing milk, I have dry curly and a frizzy hair, and this product seems to work well for me.
ghd or reminton wet to drys work the best for me
You could use a hair relaxer or use a ceramic flat iron which works best. Just shampoo really good, use a leave in conditioner, blow dry w/ a round brush and use the flat iron.
i also have long thick hair. i use infinity by conair, its salon quailty style.
My teenage daughter has very long, thick hair. She got a Chi straightener for Christmas and absolutely loves it. She had been using a Revlon straighener before but says the Chi makes all the difference in the world.
