Do the ';at home'; hair straighteners really work?

I just bought Olgive (or whatever it's called) hair straightener at Walmart, just wondered if anyone else had used it. I'm trying to get rid of my perm that hasn't grown out all the way yet.Do the ';at home'; hair straighteners really work?
I hope I get you before you use it. I used that on my hair and it fried my hair, burnt it to the roots. It took about a month for it to start growing and then it was just stubble. No I did not leave it on to long, left on for min. amt of time.Do the ';at home'; hair straighteners really work?
you wanna buy some GHD ceramic hair straighteners, theyll smooth over and straighten any perm. bit on the pricey side tho
Hmm...I straighten my hair every day, and the flat iron that I use is the ';Chi.'; Its a very good flat iron, but it can damage hair if you dont use the special product that comes with it. I think the product is silicon based? But yeah, at home hair straighteners work very well. ;]
