Are Wet to Straight hair straighteners any good?

Please let me know your opinions of them (: If they are, what's the best brand, where can I buy that specific one, what's the price, etc. Thanks! Are Wet to Straight hair straighteners any good?
Let me tell you, I owned a wet to straight iron for two good years. It ruined my hairs natural oils forever in my opinion... I really miss them.

If you want your hair to be dried straight, the closest thing to do without hurting your hairs beauty is to get a good ionic blow dryer, then straighten with a Tourmaline straightener.

Wet to straight straighteners make your hair look ';forced'; straight, unnatural, dry out your hair, and in some cases make it stink or have no good smell at all. Takes out what your shampoo and/or conditioner gave essence too.

I ordered this straightener to get rid of my old cracked wet to straight.

By the way, if you do end up buying a wet to straight, do NOT buy one from walmart, ideally, the Remington Wet-To-Straight.

Buy one from Folica :) A professional one. No matter what stores say, by ceramic or tourmaline, it is a FAKE ceramic or tourmaline, you will notice when burn marks end up on the plates of the straightener. Make sure you buy from a salon, or a trusted hair website such as Folica :)

Sorry for the long answer, just thought I might give you some reasons to watch out on wet to straight straighteners :) Good luck! Are Wet to Straight hair straighteners any good?
I have a Remington one ($25-$29) and I LOVE IT just because I have dropped it on the floor numerous times and it's still good three years later... However I never really used it on wet hair because I was always scared it'd fry my hair, haha. I only use it when my hair is damp - Two different things! :-D

But yeah, I really love mine, and it's kind of part of my life, just because my hair gets really wavy and crazy sometimes! :-)
I was wondering the same thing so i decided that i would get the remington wet 2 straight 2'; ceramic straightener. And it works like a charm! First though I would recommend buying a frizz/ static ease spray that works with heat (straightener). Then straighten your hair. Price is usually around 20 to 25 dollars.
I like mine. I've had it for atleast 2 years now. And it still works like a charm. I use Remington Wet to Straight and you can get that at any drug store or convenience store from what I understand. When I bought mine it might have been $20-$25 but like I said that was a while ago so they could be the same price or have gone down a little bit. Good luck!
I think its just asking for damaged hair. Heat on wet hair fries hair. Wait until your hair is dry to put a flat iron on it or you'll end up with awful dry and borken hair. I had one before, the flat iron i use now is wonderful, its a ceramic. Id reccomend that.
YES!!! Use Remington wet 2 straight works really well 20 to 25$
