Are the small or wide hair straighteners best?

My old one was 2'; and it recently broke so i'm about to buy a new one. My hair is very thick and about shoulder length. The 2'; one worked fine for me but I was thinking of getting a smaller one because I might cut my hair shorter. What are the pros and cons of the small one and wide one and which would you recommend?Are the small or wide hair straighteners best?
I have one of both, and the smaller one is a lot easier to manage. If you've been using the 2'; one, and can handle it really well then go for it. It will take less effort, but if you want to make your life easier, I would go for a smaller one.Are the small or wide hair straighteners best?

The wide ones are good for thick, long hair. If you want to go shorter then go with a smaller one. If you liked the 2 inch then get another one like that.
a smaller one may take longer to straighten your hair, but i just recommend getting a 2'; one again
